Adam Corkett is a Calgary-based singer-songwriter whose sound lives comfortably between Americana and Folk—rooted in East Coast nostalgia and shaped by a truly nomadic Canadian upbringing. Raised between New Brunswick and Alberta, Adam’s music carries the sense of movement and curiosity that has defined his life. His songwriting journey began overseas, crafting his first songs while living in Southeast Asia and later recording his debut album in South Africa in 2008.
Adam is widely recognized as the co-founder of the acclaimed duo Two Late To The Party, alongside Alessandra Wartenkin. The project earned two Western Canadian Music Award nominations and a YYC Music Award nomination, with their debut album The Great Unraveling charting in the top ten at community radio stations nationwide. In 2024, the duo grew into the full band Of Ghosts and Glory, while Adam simultaneously deepened his solo artistry.
Returning to his individual creative roots, Adam entered Wheelhouse Studios in High River, Alberta in 2025 to begin work on his next album. This new collection reflects his commitment to honest storytelling, emotional clarity, and a timeless, unhurried folk and roots sound. A seasoned performer, Adam has shared his songs across Alberta—from Edmonton to Medicine Hat—connecting audiences to the heart of his lived experience.
Adam’s new solo album is slated for release in 2026. Follow him for upcoming performances, new music, and project updates.
